I came here in 1958 as a DAFC (Department of the US Air Force Civilian) . The changes taken place on this island since then, particularily in the fields of electronics, comunications as@well as in the computer usages. The changes are really beyond description.

Yes, the time has brought forth incredible changes to us and to this island. I, being a person who has had previlege in playing a vital role in the process of modernization of the Okinawan community, can now again fortunately be a watcher to the another step of her changes to the 21st century. Okinawa is now really changing, and we can expect more changes in the years to come.
